For campers in grades 7 through 12
Welcoming to novices and experienced artists alike, this camp bridges the gap between traditional art and digital graphic design, inviting campers to explore a variety of mediums.
With a focus on building fundamentals, campers will be free to unleash their creativity whether they prefer digital painting or pixel art.
Skill level is not important; what is important is a passion for art and a willingness to experiment.
This beginner-friendly drawing camp uses the free program Krita, along with other programs. Computers and pen tablets are provided.
Instructor: Peter Lepper
Peter Lepper has taught electives and other specialty classes to students of all ages at Welsh Hills School.
He has an extensive background in the arts, with a college degree in digital art and a long history of stage performance, appearing on stage with local groups such as the Licking County Players since age 16.
