Welsh Hills School is hiring a part-time teacher for our toddler (18 - 36 months) program. Work with a creative, caring team of teachers who will provide guidance and support as you become familiar with our classroom environment, school expectations, and our young students.

Welsh Hills is an ISACS-accredited independent school with a Montessori Early Childhood program that serves children from 18 months through preschool and kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Through its hands-on curriculum, students experience education in an environment that encourages creativity and nurtures a child’s natural love of learning.

Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate and model integrity, curiosity, compassion, respect, belonging, and cultural awareness

• Facilitate developmentally appropriate student academic and social learning

• Communicate effectively with coworkers, administration, and parents.

• Nurture and maintain a classroom culture that embraces kindness and respect.

• Collaborate with other staff in lesson preparations and scheduling.

• Be familiar with and follow ODE's licensing guidelines.

• Represent the school in a professional manner in all settings and circumstances.

 

Applicants must be open-minded and excellent communicators.
Early childhood experience or child development coursework preferred.

Stay and Play After School Program Positions Available


Position Details:
• Part-time, weekday afternoons from 3-6 p.m.
• Responsibilities include supervising children, leading activities (games, crafts, outdoor play), and ensuring a positive and safe atmosphere
• Ideal for a college student who loves working with kids

We’re looking for someone who:
• Is responsible, patient, and energetic
• Enjoys engaging with children ages preschool (ages three) through school age.
• Is willing to work collaboratively with other staff members
