Follow the story of Evan and his archaeologist uncle as they explore a Mayan pyramid, searching for the long lost treasure of an ancient king. Campers will build and program robots designed to help the archaeologists by evading traps and unlocking the secrets of the king’s treasure. This activity is a sequel to the Mayan Adventure camp, offered in 2016, but it can be enjoyed equally by those who participated in the previous camp and those who did not.

Each day we will explore a different challenge using the Lego Mindstorms robotics system. We will learn about the process of robot design while building five robots: MazeBot, RopeSwinger, RingTosser, RampRider, and ZipLiner. This camp is a fun, creative way to develop problem solving, engineering, and programming skills.
